Ce.U.B. – Bertinoro, Italy
graduate students, PhD students
The School will be hosted by the Ce.U.B. Bertinoro Conference Center that is a conference center associated with the University of Bologna and located in the hills of the Romagna subregion
The School will tackle the four main knowledge pillars that will shape the automotive industry in the medium/long term.
Cars, trucks and motorbikes have always been and will always be mechanical systems able to carry people and payloads around.
Even if we do not know yet whether the vehicles of the future will sport combustion, electric or hybrid powertrains, we do know that they will be complex electronic systems offering the highest level of local and connected intelligence that a machine can feature.
Vehicles will be complex systems, partly or completely autonomous, that will have to seamlessly integrate with the lives of human beings even more than what they do today. This will raise problems that we must be able, and ready, to face and solve.
Complex systems are built out of brilliant human brains that work together with a well-defined and stubbornly pursued goal. Creativity, intellectual resource management, teamworking are general concepts that will be increasingly important for people that want to contribute to the future of automotive.
The number of participants is limited to 35. Places will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Fee information will appear soon on this website.
Registration will be online and must be confirmed by immediate payment (coming soon).
